LEGO BASED THERAPY GROUPS

LEGO-based Therapy is a collaborative play therapy whereby children work together to build LEGO models.  Through this approach children learn to participate in a group and communicate effectively with peers

GOALS

  • Learning skills for solving social problems

  • Developing turn-taking

  • Regulating emotions in the context of a group activity

  •  Learning how to negotiate, share ideas and be assertive with peers

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

​LEGO- Based Therapy is designed for children and adolescents who experience challenges with social interaction, such as children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder or Social Anxiety.  ​
